Kegels are pretty much the pushing and contracting of your PC muscle. The PC muscle is the muscle you flex when you urinate. I was wondering if pushing would expel the menstrual blood faster.
I can't really describe it right. lol You can do a Google search for Kegels and get a bunch of information.
I agree. Also, Kegels involve pulling the pelvic floor muscle up rather than bearing down. Bearing down as if going to the toilet may speed up the expulsion of any blood or clots that are making their way through the vagina (rather than still in the uterus) - this is why people may find that they end up with more blood on the toilet paper than on their sanitary pads, especially when their bleeding is light - but I'm not sure it's worth the effort.
