Hrm...

I am the first girl my boyfriend has been with, in almost al ways, and although we have the most fantastic sex life ever, it all just seems to have to stop the minute I come on my period.

Now, I'm not one of those kind of girls who is really too bothered about having sex during her period, I mean, when it's full flow it's the last thing I want but towards the end it gets quite tempting. He really *does not* like the idea. Something about blood on his penis, which I can totally understand.

Anyway, I was wondered if anyone has any advice?
We could use condoms yes, I know that much, but I was thinking more for other things to do without having full sex.

Or anything I can do to convice him that it doesn't have to get completely out of bounds.

Just anything really!

I have two boyfriends, but am only fluid-bonded with one, and don't feel comfortable having messy sex with the one I'm not fluid-bonded with. With that one, I wash before sex, use a fresh "Instead" cup, and then we feel comfortable with sex, aside from intercourse. (Some folks don't mind intercourse with an Instead cup, I think they're too big.)

maybe if you have washed just before..and then had sex right after? i don't know..i find that my period kind of stops during sex or in the shower, swimming, etc..especially on the last days...condom use would make it less messy since he can pull it off along with anything on it..
i can't think of any other suggestions right now....argh..sorry

I haven't really come up with much else, I was wondering if anyone had any similar experience really.

Like I said, I could try a lot harder to ensure he was more comfortable with it, but my periods have been a little od latey and i havent really had the chance :|

I'd recommend using condoms anyway. It's possible to acquire infections non-sexually and pass them on sexually (especially yeast infections, and some bacterial ones).
