*mutters angrily*

I have another yeast infection. The last one I had was a little more then a month ago. Stupid birth control making me susceptible. I guess I'm due for a week of really healthy eating, because sugary foods can make it worse, or so I've heard.

Oh the joys of being female...

If you had one just about a month ago, it's entirely possible that this is the same one as the last, only reinvigorated. Not sure what treatment you may have used, but you might consider extending the treatment. Say you were doing a 3 day treatment of overthecounter meds. Try getting two packages for a total of 6 days. Of course, you should probably discuss this with your gyn, but that's my non-medical but very yeast prone advice.

And yeah, avoid the sugar. It gets into your system and feeds the yeast. (ever use yeast in baking? It's the warm environment and the sugar that really gets it going)

... if you're with a partener (male) get him checked? A guy can have a yeast infection with almost no symptoms (or none at all) and give it back to you as soon as yours is cured... ask your doctor about that perhaps if it could be the case? Anyhow, hope yours clears up soon!

I'd ask my doctor... and I don't think they can check (I could be wrong!) but if they think he might have, then I think you can rub monistat lotion or whatever on him at same time/for same amount of days as you would insert it in yourself, and let it stay on skin overnight, to treat it. Hopefully your doctor could give you more info! Good luck!
