Eeeek. I've been reading a lot lately about rayon and the dioxin in tampons being linked to TSS, cervical cancer and endometriosis, as well as just creating a gross bacterial-growth environment. It's really freaky stuff! Does anyone here use those all-natural 100% cotton tampons? I've been thinking about checking them out in a health food store or something. I'm hoping they're inexpensive and easy to use because I generally dislike tampons anyway.

i use unbleached cotton tampons some of the time. i buy the ones without applicators. they're just like OB, just less blindingly white. ;)

I keep a box of 100% cotton, non-chlorine-bleached tampons in my desk for those 'sneak up and smack you upside the bottom' periods that I seem to be getting recently. (i.e., for the days when I leave my keeper at home, not expecting to bleed.)

I hate tampons (the strings drive me nuts, and they dry me out), but these ones weren't too bad.

I picked them up at a local health food store. They're Nature something or other brand, and were expensive. (well, to me, but I think the last time I bought tampons (or pads, for that matter) was about 3 years ago.)

I use Natracare. They are organic & all cotton. I think that they are a little less absorbant as OB and such, but since my periods are light that's a good thing. I get them at the health food section at the grocery store, but my grocery store has a really good health food section. They should be at a health food store.

Ya, I use those too. Natracare, they come in a yellow box.
