you know, i'd been worried for a week that i was pregnant. usually, after i stop my birth control pills, my period comes within the next couple of days. but i'd stopped mine a week or so before (granted, a little early because i'd started a little late and i figured i was due to get a period soon and didn't want to mess myself up again) and i hadn't gotten it yet. i felt tired, and bloated, and wanting salt, and one morning i woke up feeling sick, so of course i was afraid. but then i got it yesterday and the relief was so great i almost cried.

hell. i wish the symptoms of impending-period and early pregnancy didn't have to be so bloody SIMILAR, so they wouldn't scare little fraidy-cats like me. ;-)

oh I so sypathise, I get like that when my period is like a day late (and given it's regularity that's not rare), even (oddly enough) when I haven't had sex with a man since my last period... which is very wierd.

I get the same way. It's usually an utterly unfounded fear. Maybe it's misplaced from fear of starting in an awkward situation. At least this makes me strangely happy when I do start.

Fertile, yet not pregnant. Woo!
