i just finished my period two weeks ago. started a new pack of pills, and three days ago i woke up to find my underwear filled with blood. for the first day it was brown and thick. gross, i know. i had to change my tampon like every hour. and i had to wear a pad, just to be safe. on the second day, it was thick and very very very dark red. i still have it, and it's so heavy.
what should i do? or is there anything to worry about?

Needing to change a tampon every hour could be a symptom of endometriosis or a related disorder. You should see your doctor and tell him or her that you've been needing to change it that often - it's one of the best ways for them to gauge how heavy your flow is.
