as anyone used those new "pearl" tampons? if so, could you tell me about them (like if they really do what they claim)... i'm interested in trying those out, but i heard they're expensive.also... what "sizes" do they come in?

thanks.

i've used them before. i dont think they absorb anymore than normal tampons. they're just more expensive.

don't waste your money.

I LOVE them! I just tried them for the first time. They wern't tericly expensive, but it was def. worth it for me. They come is regular, super, and I didn't see of they came in anything else. I got the regulars. I actually have one in right now! I luv em!

i got mine at walmart, and they weren't terribly more expensive than the normal tampax... maybe like .40 more? but i think they're great... the difference is that they expand more outwardly, at least that's what it seems like to me, and so they don't leak... at least on me... but they also don't like kill getting out ;-) i've had problems with the normal ones leaking... like the super duper grando absorbancy that is the size of a baseball bat ;-) but with these i can just use regulars and it doesn't leak... great for me because you're not supposed to use things with so high an absorbency ;-) i think they're cool, and the applicators are neat because you can't like pull them apart... i don't know it's hard to explain, but you can't... and you can't like get part of it stuck... ok so don't ask but i've had this problem before where i insert one and half the applicator inserts itself, but these are like connected sorta.. i just wish they made them with cardboard applicators... i liked the flushing part ;-) oh well :) hope that helped!

You can get a free sample of them on Procter and Gamble's website.
