When a woman is pregnant, how long before she starts to show? (I'm sure its different for everyone, but an averdge would be great) Thanks

i started to show with a little pooch at my belly around 4-5 months but i didn't have to wear maternity clothes until i was about 6.5 months. by the time my son was born, my dad said i looked like a potato with toothpicks sticking out.

With my first and third, I think I was showing around 4 months or so. With my second it was more like 2 months.
