Ok so I know that Valentines day is a little over two weeks away, but I was hoping that I could pick you girls brains for some gift ideas for my boyfriend. I realize this is way off topic, but I am really at a loss here and need some help. Please let me know if you have any sexy or romantic ideas, thanks!!!

It's hard to guess what someone would consider sexy or romantic without knowing the person.

Hmm..well, I'm making my guy some cookies in the shape of the Japanese symbol for love. (he's learning Japanese right now). I'm also going to cook him breakfast ^__^
I'm not good wih gifts..and it seems weird to give a present to someone on Vday to me.

Hmm. Maybe find a place in your area that has rentable hottubs (a non-sleazy place) and buy a couple of hours there, with candles and stuff?

Check out http://www.watercourseway.com

The Berkeley Sauna on Milvia in Berkeley has great massage for a reasonable price, too.

They're both very clean. The Berkeley Sauna (they have saunas, hot tubs, and massage) is "family oriented," shows wear and tear, and has great massage. Watercourse Way is much fancier, very clean, has really nice custom tile tubs, and though I'm sure their massage is good, it's all-around more expensive.

I personally can't think of anything besides a mix CD. But you ought to ask in [livejournal.com profile] craftgrrl. They will help you bunches!

you could cook him dinner, candlelights
but if you're a college student living in the dorms that might be difficult

well like, my boyfriend's birthday is the 24th, 10 days after, so like, i made a combo thing for him this year (and already sent it actually, way early, but he knows i get excited about giving him things =P). we're in a long distance relationship, and it's a pretty much permanant relationship, so i made him what i called a 'someday book' with some publishing software. and like, i just started with 'i know that someday . . .' and listed all these things i know we're going to be able to do together in the future. it's the size of a folded in half sheet of 8.5x11 paper with fun fonts and colors, and a few love poems i added in.

i dunno what kind of relationship you guys have (kind of temporary, or permanent, or what), but seeing as you're in college and he's got his own house, my idea might work kind of. it all depends on the things you list.

One of my favorite things to do for all of my friends is take a blank journal and fill it with poems, pictures, song lyrics, anything that makes me think of them. It's really sweet, really personal and fun. :-)

Yeah. I had a friend who did that too. I'm not good at collage. But it's very cool.

one of the coolest sites i've found is http://www.lovingyou.com ...
it has TONS of neat ideas for stuff like that.
especially if you click on the "romance" channel on the left of the screen, or the "holidays" one...
hope that helps a bit :D
