Fully Embodied Woman - Ritual and Retreat
Feb. 17th, 2003 06:26 pmMarch 20 - 23 - Center for New Beginnings, Dahlonega, Georgia
THE CALL, THE INVITATION:
In life, each woman brings her self, her journey and her current path, her artifacts and her mystery
Women’s connection with earth, with each other, and with all living things, is deepened through the power of ceremonial indwelling with our selves
At a time when people in the world seem more and more out of touch with the elemental, the interconnections of all living peoples and things, our connections are even more important
Through the ceremonial, through ritual, through movement and music, we will explore the sacred experience of being embodied women.
We explore our lives at altars evoking birth, maiden, sacred lover, mother, the divine feminine, the divine masculine, the divine union, father or the masculine within, woman in the world, woman at the crossroads/midlife, crone and the void.
You and your friends are invited! What you can expect:
CEREMONY *** NOURISHMENT OF SELF AND EACH OTHER *** TIME IN NATURE
*** EMBODIMENT *** SHARED CREATION OF SACRED SPACE *** MOVEMENT
DANCE *** ALTARS EVOKING WOMEN’S LIFE PASSAGES *** MUSIC
*** PLAY *** VOICING THE STORY OF WOMAN *** REFLECTION
