rambling first post
Feb. 19th, 2003 05:51 pmHi!
Got my period early the other day, due to my own stupidity. I forgot my pill 4 days straight. Yikes! Thankfully I'm not on it for the birth control but regulation. I'm considering waiting with my next pack of pills and seeing when my period comes on its own. It used to only come 3 or 4 times a year, stick around for 2 weeks, cause a ton of pain and generally wreck havoc on my life. None of the doctors I've seen agree on what the problem is, except all of them tell me not to worry about it until I'm trying to have kids. One told me not to worry about it, that my period will work itself out over time. The one that made the most sense was polycystic ovarian syndrome, but when I had my appendix taken out the surgeon said my ovaries looked fine.
Anyways... been on the pill for over 3 years straight, and I'm wondering what will happen if I stop.
