Since coming off the pill my cycle has settled into 27 days - but this means that my old 'knowing' is affected. Not badly cause I still get symptoms but the knowing it will start Sunday pm or Monday am.

At least I do keep track using the Cycle site (when I can remember who I called myself - didn't use my real name) and get the symptoms.

Ah well, an interesting birthday present - I am now 36.

You haven't established a pattern?

I know that when I finish my active pills, I'll get my period after the second placebo, which is Sunday night. Never fail, I get my period on a Sunday night and then it goes away the following Thrusday, when I start a new pack of pills.

At least my periods are like clockwork on the pill.

I started the pill when I was 17 - I was horribly irregular and suffered dysmenorrhea badly - officially the pill was to control my periods.

I finally came off it in October 2002. I still get mild period pain etc but my periods are regular- just a day or two shorter - this is only my 6th bleed since my last pill afterall :)
