When you ovulate, is there any sort of discharge, something that you can absolutely tell that you're ovulating, or is it just general discharge?

Your general discharge is more like the consistency of egg whites, and it's a little whiter than normal too. At least mine is!

yeah sue johanson(the old sex show canadian lady of oxygen) said it gets whiter and a little thicker during ovulation

that it gets clearer and slimey-er during ovulation, and i experience that myself. Also, one of the ladies on Love Line said that when you're ovulating if the discharge is 'flexible' like u can stretch it between 2 fingers that's another way of showing, but i know alot of chicks aren't into touching discharges. i don't mind. especially when it's to figure out when u're ovulating
so that's what i know..and it may not be true. but anyways...................

when i ovulate my discharge is really thin and slimy. i read once that its like that so that sperm has an easier time getting to the cervix. fun stuff huh?

I've been meaning to figure out if something like that would happen when you're most likely to get pregnant. It would make sense.

yeah it does make sense. have you checked out cyclespage.com? it can help you track your cycle and it shows you when you're mostly likely to be ovulating.

Yes, I have. But I never remember dates so currently I've only got last months starting date and I've yet to start this months. That means they've currently got me stuck on the default 28 day cycle which isn't me.

ive recently gone off the pill and have noticed pains in my sides, which were possibly at just the right time of the month as well. do you know if ovulation alternates sides like left one month, right the next, or is it random? cause mine was left one then twice on the right. it was also semi-crippling (i exaggerate a tad) and higher than i thought my ovaries were (bottom of rib cage).

so i have no idea, but does that sound possibly similar?
