i'm sixteen and my period has always been pretty regular, maybe just off by a couple days, or a week. point being, for about a year or two i've been having my period every month. except. . for this past two months. i am not sexually active or anything so i don't know what it could be. i heard that a change in eating habits could have an effect, but mine are still the same. stress may be a possibility.

but the thing is i didn't get it in february at all, and now march.. i should have gotten it yesterday but i have a feeling it won't be coming. both months i had all my usually pms symptoms-just not as much cramping. moodiness expecially. both months i had a lot of discharge, but this isn't really unusual.

the thing is though, i think i have some kind of infection down there that i think may posibly be effecting this. i was sorta wishiing it would just go away on it's on, but i think i'm going to have to take action soon. i dont' think it's anything to serious, but it itches and burns everyone once in awhile.

in conclusion, how concerned should i be? how normal is this? any help would be appreicated thank you.

Urinary tract infections delay your period and yes, I (sadly) know this from experience.

Get thee to a *doctor*. Also, you might consider using the parsely tea remedy (see the memories of this community for the post I made that has this info), which should bring your period.

it could also be an underlying yeast infection. usually those can be cleared up with over the counter meds, but i'd go to the dr. anyway just to make sure there is no serious problem.

I agree with going to your doctor, at least calling him/her. I do want to add that I think its *great* that you are not yet having sex, so many younger people rush. End of the mom moment.... sorry
