i just entered the hut again...

this cycle was 21 days. that was really short, compared to one time when i didn't have it for over 2 months, and well, it's at least 25 days, if not between 28 and 30.

my uterus is telling me she wants to be taken better care of (ie BC), but can't do that for her ;_;

oh yeah, i only have 2 pads left since my mom decided to take most of the 60% full pack that i had without asking me, and not bothering to replace them. yes, this will be fun. (i still have tampons tho).

least i have the thermacare patches for track tomarrow.. i started a load of white laundry because, you guessed it, it started while i was wearing white underwear again.

oh how i love surprises..

Are you charting? If not, get a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler and start.

My best guess: You probably didn't ovulate for the 2 months of no period, then your body decided to bleed anyway out of boredom with that particular uterine lining. Then a week later your body decided it WOULD ovulate after all, and here you are. I've had that happen a few times. Or maybe I haven't understood correctly. Was the two month gap recent, or longer ago?

It's completely within the realm of normality not to ovulate every month. If you keep having cycles like that, it could be wise to find out what's going on with your hormones. If you get the afore mentioned book, you can determine an awful lot of that yourself.

You should find out when you ovulate for sure though (by charting). Then you'll always know when you're going to be in the hut and can get enough supplies!
