afterall, why is the word MEN in it anyway? they don't have one, so they shouldn't get to be in the word! yeah! i sound like im two! hah. anyway.

Actually, it is called "menstruation" after the Roman goddess "Mens". She was the goddess who governed a woman's monthly cycle. Mens was also a goddess of intelligence, good judgment, and the conscious mind. Mens' feast day is May 8.
