Jun. 28th, 2001 06:52 pmI got a phone call from the lame GYN that I went to a few weeks ago, who insisted that there is no evidence I have endometriosis, even though my previous IM doctor diagnosed me with it over a year ago.
Well, this is the doctor who was absolutely opposed to me having a laparoscopy. Apparently she went ahead and got authorization for it! Now, I'm really torn here- should I go ahead and have the surgery while I have the chance, even though I don't trust this GYN? Or should I see about having another Dr do it, even though I might not have time for that? (I'm about to move to another city, which means I will be leaving my current job and insurance.)

Date: 2001-06-28 05:44 pm (UTC)I'm worried about the approval time- will I have to get the surgery approved al over again by my insurance company? Or can I go ahead and have surgery next week, with the diffrent doctor? It took about two weeks for my ins company to approve the last surgery, and I don't have that much time.
