Hi all! Im new here and need some advise on alittle something, I was with my guy like 7 weeks ago, and we have just broke up , now I had ended my period just a week or so before he were "together", now all this time later no period, home preg.came out negative, so I thought I'd wait this out, well just the other day I get it.. THANK GOD! but its not normal, its like very very light almost like the last day of a normal period, and I had the worst cramps, and it also didnt last as long. I usually have it for about 5 days, but this time was 3 days of almost no bleeding...im confussed! if anyone has an idea whats causing this let me know .

I would take another pregnancy test, and even go see a doctor.

Most women ovulate and are fertile about 5-7 days following the last day of their period.

Some pregnant women (eek, don't mean to scare you) have spotting even though they are pregnant, so I would definitely see a dr.

it could be stress from the break-up or something else, or just a fluke. i would wait another couple weeks and take another home test, then if your next period is light like that, go to the doctor.

I think im just gonna go to the doc. and find out whats up with my body! Its all too much for my poor nerves! blah! thanx for your help

Not to scare you or anything, something similar happened to me. I thought I was just stressed and that's why it was late. Then I went to the Dr. about 2 weeks later (for other issues). They ran a test and told me I was pregnant. I told them about just getting my period. They did an ultrasound, and told me that I had miscarried the baby.

Yeah, it would probably be wise to see a Dr. It might be a miscarriage, or it might be nothing at all. Why not have peace of mind? Best of luck to you.

thats pretty much what happened to me as well... my period was three weeks late and then it was really light... and a week or so later it came back really heavily and i also had a miscarriage.
