So i started birthcontrol a few days ago (7 today) and it was the first day of my period.. and im bleeding really strangely.. like, on and off and its been 7 days, my normal period is 5, so i dont know.. is this normal?

Sounds pretty normal to me. It takes a while for your body to get used to the new hormones ...

when i started my birthcontrol, yasmin, last august, i too started on the first day of my period, and i had this on again off again bleeding like thing (just annoying enough to have to wear a panty liner and actually change it, right?) until it was time for my next period... so over the course of about 4 weeks i bled, and when my first "on the pill" period came, it was really ick... as in the worst cramps i'd encountered... some people have bad first times, some don't... mine was so bad that i wanted to stop taking the drugs, but i didn't and i've not had any other problems with it :) Call your gyno if you're still worried but mine told me it was normal cause i freaked out and called asking her why i'd been bleeding after the 3 weeks ;) but i mean it wasn't like period full out bleeding, just sorta a steady... trickle? sorry chicka... but it's worth it i promise :)
