A friend of mine, a man, aid that I should try to rejoice in my monthly cycle. He believes that time that a woman bleeds is a time of great inner power. It's a nice thought, but it's the time BEFORE the bleeding that kills me. The cramps and bloating.....OUCH.
It's hard to rejoice when you are busy calculating how much more ibuprofen you can take without killing your kidneys.

My older one was concieved while I was on the pill. "Dr, are you SURE that this antibiotic won't affect my birth control pills?" "No, dear, it will be fine". Thank you very much, you jerk.
And did you know that the diapragm is only 84% effective? But if it fails, you get 100% of a kid. That would be our second little angel.
But, yes, I do remember the monthly celebrations of not being pregnant.
