On Tuesday, June 10, 2003, the Federal Trade Commission will be holding hearings on Health Care and Competition Law and Policy -- and they will address the policy of medical students performing pelvic exams on anesthetized patients without the patient's consent.
You can make your opinion on non-consensual pelvic exams heard by submitting your written views to the FTC. Submissions must be received no later than July 25, 2003.
So, take this opportunity to tell the FTC that you are against non-consensual pelvic exams and want informed consent to be an absolute requirement!
