Burning.

Is it normal for your crotch to have a burning sensation come out of nowhere? My crotch has been burning all day, almost similar to the burning I felt after I had my pap smear a little over a month ago (but not at intense as the burning was after the pap smear). I don't have anything wrong with me and I'm due to start my period in about 2 days (I took my first dud pill of my birth control today). Thanks in advance!!!

Are you talking about a sensation inside your vagina, up near your cervix? Or outside, like on your labia? I don't know if it's "normal" but the labia thing happens to me fairly often. I always think it's a yeast infection and it never is.

I think all it means is that your vulva is a little more stimulated than usual so it's bumping up against your undies, etc., and that translates into a "burning" feeling. Perhaps you got aroused at some point during the day? (I know I notice it after I've been with my boyfriend.)
