Arg!
*staggers into the hut*
Yup, I should have come to the hut yesterday and saved myself the crampy walk today. It never, never fails. The day before I get my period I get this very certain headache. I get real tired too. Then the next day, usually within 18 hrs, BAM! Cramp city! Well, I brought some spinach, garlic, mushroom pizza with me. Anyone care for a slice?

Hi!
I haven't really posted here before, but I've been lurking for a long time.

Just a question:
Before I began taking birth control I used to have these unbearable cramps in my lower abdomen a week or two before my period- they were sometimes so acute that I couldn't walk or sit up. They weren't the usual menstrual cramps I had right at the beginning of my period, though I knew that they were coming from that area of my body. The pains were much sharper and more intense. I used to figure that this was a normal premenstrual symptom, but nobody else seems to suffer from this sort of thing, especially not two weeks before their period. Has anyone else had anything like this?

Anyone ever used these ?

I guess you would make one single wash just of these, I wouldn't wash it with my other clothes. But then you have to wait for the end of your period to wash them all together... Isn't there a smell?????

I got this from my sister, and just had to share!! Enjoy!

Girl Poem....

I shave my legs,
I sit down to pee.
And I can justify any,
shopping spree.

Don't go to a barber,
but a beauty salon.
I can get a massage,
without a hard-on.

I can balance the checkbook,
I can pump my own gas.
Can talk to my friends,
about the size of my ass.

My beauty's a masterpiece,
and yes, it takes long.
At least I can admit,
to others when I'm wrong.

I don't drive in circles,
at any cost.
And I don't have a problem,
admitting I'm lost.

I never forget,
an important date.
You just gotta deal with it,
I'm usually late.

I don't watch movies,
with lots of gore.
Don't need instant replay,
to remember the score.

I won't lose my hair,
I don't get jock itch.
And just cause I'm assertive,
Don't call me a bitch.

Don't say to your friends,
Oh yeah, I can get her.
In your dreams, my dear,
I can do better!

Flowers are okay,
But jewelry's best.
Would you look at my face,
Not at my chest!

I don't have a problem,
With Expressing my feelings.
I know when you're lying,
You look at the ceiling.

Don't call me a girl,
A babe or a chick.
I am a WOMAN,
Get it, you prick?!

i'm wiped out! i'm anemic and during this lovely time of the month, i lose what little energy i have. i take an iron supplement, but what else can I do?
I'd really appreciate any helpful hints - I'm open to anything right now, as I can't even keep my head up much longer to look at the monitor.

Take care, and thanks!

Today was horrible, pain-wise. I woke up in excruciating pain and it continued throughout the day. I spent most of the morning doubled over, gasping for breath, until my vicoden kicked in.

I took 250mg of vicoden once I got to work, and at first I was ok as long as I took another 250 every 4 hours or so. Then a little after 3pm, that wasn't enough. I ended up taking another 250. It eventually worked, but I was terrified. WHat if the meds stop working? What will I do then? I am so frightened of that possibility.

I got very nauseated around 5:30pm, I think it had to do with sleep deprivation. I came home and took a 4 hour nap.

The Keeper was great! I wore it all day at work. It takes a little longer to work with than does a tampon, but it is worth it. Last night, I thought I must be having some leakage, because every time I removed the Keeper, it had blood and tissue on the outside of the cup. But today I wore a thong and a pantiliner, just in case, and had NO leakage. None at all.

The tab is still occasionally owie. I am going to write the Keeper people to ask if perhaps coating it with liquid latex or silicone gel will be safe and helpful, or if they have any other suggestions.

The only weird thing is that when I awoke from my nap, the Keeper had slipped way up inside me. I had a bit of a time getting it out. I might avoid wearing it to sleep in.
