Hi, I'm new here and I'll just introduce myself if you don't mind.
I'm Toni, 15 from England. I have had massive problems with periods, eg. bleeding when I was 12 for 20 days. Heavily. I'm talking the kind of bad where you have to change your pad every hour and you're knickers are still sopping so I guess I could say I haven't had the best of times. Plus I'm bi and constantly suffer gender crises. Ach. I seem to have everything feminine I didn't want - bad periods, large breasts, the lot.
I'm straightened out now luckily, but of course that doesn't stop me moaning ^__^.
How are you all?

A good friend of mine, who is male by no fault of his own, was apparently perusing my friends page and asked me if anyone who posts to the Hut isn't pissed off. The discussion that followed led him to the amazing revelation that if it didn't piss women off, it wouldn't be PMS.

Anyway, he made some comment to the extent of "I guess PMS is what gives us the musical genius of Sarah McLachlan and Tori Amos" or some such like that. Made me think....why is it that men can write emotional songs and it's about life, but when women express strong emotion, it must be related to PMS? As if women were not subject to the human experience outside of their apparently uterine-centric universe?

Live Journal is working again I guess. I'm using lj-cut because I don't want this to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it. HBO has been showing it so you gotta get it :)

This is just my point of view and what not. It's kind of short. The Monolouges.. )

I went to see my doctor today about a lymph node infection. I am taking anti-biotics and she said they might cause a yeast infection. I've never had one of these before and I would like to avoid gettting one as much as possible. Could any of you please give me some advise on how to avoid one, and what are the best cures? thanx :)
