When you ovulate, is there any sort of discharge, something that you can absolutely tell that you're ovulating, or is it just general discharge?

Hi I'm new. Name is Nikki,I'm 16 and my period always sucks ass.

I guess I'm totally out of the loop...but what the hell is Instead and Keeper and what are sponges? I guess I'm really showing my again the fact that I know what nothing is. It'd be help ful if anyone can get back to me on this...
