A question

Whew.. thank god for communities like these. I was about to go nuts and look for internet sites relating to my question.

I dont know if I should be scared or not, but this has never happened to me before. All day today I was having horrible cramps, so bad I couldnt even stand up after I while. After I got home, I noticed I was bleeding alot heavier than usual. My period has been weird since December (very light to non-existant) and I just started using The patch about a month ago. But anyways, I went to the bathroom again, feeling like I just had a huge discharge, and there was what seemed like a blood clot, but it was a whitish color, and more like tissue. There was a little blood on it, but more white was visable on it. I checked the memories for this, but it just didnt sound like a "lemon clot" or anything. It was roughly the size of a big strawberry.. I have never seen anything like this since I've had my period. But the good thing about it, is the cramps went away, and I feel a little bit better.

If you could leave comments about this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

i'm sixteen and my period has always been pretty regular, maybe just off by a couple days, or a week. point being, for about a year or two i've been having my period every month. except. . for this past two months. i am not sexually active or anything so i don't know what it could be. i heard that a change in eating habits could have an effect, but mine are still the same. stress may be a possibility.

but the thing is i didn't get it in february at all, and now march.. i should have gotten it yesterday but i have a feeling it won't be coming. both months i had all my usually pms symptoms-just not as much cramping. moodiness expecially. both months i had a lot of discharge, but this isn't really unusual.

the thing is though, i think i have some kind of infection down there that i think may posibly be effecting this. i was sorta wishiing it would just go away on it's on, but i think i'm going to have to take action soon. i dont' think it's anything to serious, but it itches and burns everyone once in awhile.

in conclusion, how concerned should i be? how normal is this? any help would be appreicated thank you.
