nuvaring questions for those who have it

will the nuvaring make me gain a ton of weight? and what the heck is up with this "intolerance to conact lenses" side effect all about? it doesn't go into any detail on any of the side effects on the webpages i've visited.

i'm only asking because i have to wait for my gyno appt, and i may forget when the time comes.

Stupid question time!

Tampax was on sale, so I brought that instead of my usual pads (I'm 20 and have never used tampons before). As long as I use pads at night and wash my hands before&after application I should be safe from TSS, right? Again, I wouldn't have chosen tampons, but money is tight and they were so much cheaper, and I just want to double check on TSS.

diva cup

Hey everyone, I am looking for some advice, and this looks like the community that might best be able to help me... I just bought a Diva Cup, and this is my first period using it. Day 3, and I still haven't gotten the hang of it. I can't seem to get it in there so as not to still have a small amount of leakage (not enough to really stain, just enough to make me feel gross all day). I think maybe it is up too high for my particular internal shape, but I don't want to have the stem sticking out... I have heard some people say that trimming the stem helped, but I don't know... Should I? How do I know how much to trim?

I really want this to work out for me...
