My cycles have been absolutely crazy for two years now. I stopped taking depo in order to prepare to get pregnant and have not had a single period without the assistance of progesterone.

I took it for two separate cycles and it worked like a charm, but no periods without it's help.

The dr. insists it is perfectly fine that I not have my period after depo for at least three years, so I went back to letting my body trying to figure it out on it's own.

So for the past month now, I have been wet 24/7 and not damp but drenching wet constantly, finally last night on a bathroom trip on the toilet paper I found a small chunky lump of goo (like you might expect on your period.) and the urine scent was very very strong.

I thought I might be starting my period but it has been about 24 hours now and nothing else happened.

Has anyone else ever spotted in a similar fashion either in lieu of a period or a few days before hand? and does the strong smelling urine mean anything?

Planned Parenthood doesn't want to give me an IUD...

do antidepressants mess up menstrual cycles? this would have been my first period on amitriptyline (elavil). i expected my period between days 28-33, and it didn't come. i'm on day 42. i have taken two pregnancy tests in the past week - both negative, so i've ruled that out. i read that it is possible for antidepressants to screw these things up. how common is it?

scented pads

my cousin is visiting from taiwan and she's on her period now so her pads r allover the bathroom and what not (they're not really allover, they're just sitting nicely on the counter). and you know how the scented pads in america smell kinda like baby powder? well the ones from taiwan smell like mothballs...and it's interesting. i was just wondering if anyone else from other countries in this community have other scented pads?
