Help?

Okay ladies (and possibly gents) for the past two months I have been having this weird pain in my left side. Feel your left side, find the last rib and poke about an inch under that. That's where it hurts. I went to the regular doctor to rule out Kideny infection/stones/etc. Everything came back normal. I am going to the gyno on Aug 9th.

I'm curious to know if anyone else has had this happen before. Any thoughts as to what it might be? My periods are still normal. Hmmm.

question about ob/gyn appts...
i went to a new ob/gyn for the first time for help with ubercramps + severe pms (mood swings, bloating, etc) that wasn't being solved by over-the-counter meds. she gave me a perscription for lots of ibuprofin, which predictably did absolutely nothing. per her instructions, i scheduled a "problem" appointment to go see her for her to perscribe bc pills. unfortunatly, earlier that day she got sick and went home. i had to re-schedule for over a month away, then on the day of my appt one of her other patients had a baby. this time the apt was two months away, and again someone had a baby. now i've got an apt set for monday, and my period just started (it's not off-schedule, it varies ~3 days and ended up starting on the 4th). will she/is she able to perscribe the pill without examining me (i imagine she won't be doing that since i'm on my period?)? i'm leaving for college mid-august, and at this point i'm considering just going to a clinic.
