Hey ladies!  I just joined mainly because I have a question about the morning after pill and interrupted periods.  In June I took the morning after pill and then proceeded to have my cycle the 15th.  That part is normal....  the unnormal part is that after then July and August rolled around and nothing.  I took a prego test on August 6th and it came back Negative.. I just took another one on the 6th of September and still not pregnant.  So has anyone seen something like this before?

I'm supposed to get my period tomorrow, however i really feel like i'm not going to. I am sexually active, but my boyfriend and i are positive he never came in me. I did read the memories on missing one due to stress, and i have been extrememly stressed, so that could be a factor, but also..i'm "recovering" from a UTI and i just got a yeast infection from the antibiotics, so could those two things also be factors in me missing or getting my period late? i'm just really worried that i could be pregnant...it said on the monistat box that if you get a yeast infection three times within a short period of time you could be pregnant...i had one last month, but i also had my period when i got it...so i'm really just worried...basically, could the uti and whatnot effect my getting my period? thanx so much.

So I'm back, asking another question. Thanks in advance for any advice you all can give. I'm assuming this question is appropirate, especially because of the effect on the period. ;)

I was at my doctor this morning discussing options for birth control. She suggested the IUD, specifically Mirena (www.mirena.com). It is normally used for women who have had a child, but apparently can also be used for younger women in a monogamous relationship with no risk of contracting stds. SHe thinks if would be perfect for my situation.

I was wondering if anyone else had experience with Mirena or any other forms of IUD contraceptives. I think it sounds fabulous and am considering having it inserted on my winter break. I just wanted to get some more testimonials. ;)

Thanks again!

sick

I just started taking estrostep-fe a week ago. Now, I knew ahead of time that I would have some side effects such as upset stomache, dizzyness, blurry vision.

Well I've had all of that everyday. I keep taking it like I'm supposed to, but it's making me SICK. I was so sick this morning that I missed a class. This really sucks.

So, any tips on how to deal with the upset stomach? That seems to be my main problem. I've tried chewing mint and using heating pads, but it doesn't seem to be working. Should I tell my gyno about how icky I feel or is this normal?

Also, if I want to change what time I take my pill, how do I go about doing that? I can't find any info on it. I take it at 11pm and I would rather take it at 5pm.

Thank you so much in advance.

edit Just to clarify, by sick I mean insane amounts of nausea. I haven't thrown up, but I've gotten pretty darn close.
