New Here, W/An Esoteric Question

Hi. I'm melyxa & though I've lurked a little, I'm still pretty new.

And I've got a kind of strange question. In all my 42 years, I have never once had a period that's been in synch with the full moon. Once, maybe twice, with the new moon, but that's not material. I've read and heard, all my life, of it being called "moontime," and of how our cycles synch up with the waxing of the moon and all of that good stuff. It's just never happened.

And, now, experiencing it for the first time ever, I think I'm kind of glad. I am so over the top emotionally and feel so awful physically, I scarcely know how to describe it (which is a bit of a first too, I admit).

Does anyone else notice a difference in how they feel when their moontimes synch up with the moon's time?

Doesn't help that this moon is "the blood moon" either, of course.

Alright, this isn't really a question about my period, more lack there of. First off, I don't believe I'm pregnant. I have had sex once in the past year, and he didn't finish off. (we did not use protection)

I got my PMS right on schedule, so I figured the period would be coming sometime soon after. I was wrong. I am 2 weeks late, and I'm worried sick. I know that stressing over it, really isn't helping any, but its so hard not to worry.

My periods have been like clockwork for about the past 5 years or so. Every 28-30 days BAM! there it was. Well, last month, I was 10 days late for my little visitor. This month, I am 14 days late and counting.

I have scheduled a dr.'s appt, which was originally meant to get me back on birth control, and now I guess to find out whats going on with my plumbing. I have big fears that there is a giant tumor blocking my falopian tube, and taking my egg hostage.

I have been really stressed lately with some personal stuff, and work stuff. And I have been late before due to stress... but NEVER this late.

Please help!

i've been thinking about trying out a diva cup (or the keeper? orrr a moon cup? not sure which is better... so if you have any suggestions, please comment!), but i live in toronto and was wondering if stores sell any of these? or if anyone knows of any canadian vendors online that i could purchase from.
