my period started today.
every month that it starts, it's really really irregular ;_;
spots a little for a few days, then comes out in full flow and then my womb explodes (or that's what it feels like, hehee)
then i started wondering, does the spotting have anything to do with my diet?
i eat very little, and sometimes get frustrated when my period begins and think "awww i didn't even get to do any iron build-up this month!"
and my face gets really off-coloured and sleepy. and moody.

do you follow a specific diet routine to keep the blood cells pumpin'?

p.s. i also have a back-problem, and it starts to ache whenever my flow is really heavy. could it be related?

I am an active person. Not in sports, but in theatre. Our space confinement (we are in a very small theatre. No dressing rooms etc) dictates that if we have a costume change mid-show, then we have to do it in front of everyone else waiting to go onstage. I don't have a problem with that... unless I'm on my period.
I use pads. I have tried tampons (Tampax regular pearls and the smaller ones) and I just can't do it!! I know that I need to use them if I have to move a lot in a show or in gym class or something, and I get get them in fine. But I am terrified to take them out because I've had horrible experiences with them. Everytime I need to take them out again (save for 2 occasions) it's gotten stuck. I do everything i'm supposed to - relax and gentle - but right before the exit, it gets hooked on something. When I pull it is really painfull. I don't know what it is or how to avoid this situation. in order to get it unhooked I have to be at home w/ a mirror, so it doesn't really do me any good when I need to use them for a show or volleyball.
My questions are
1. What is it getting stuck on
2. Has it happened to anyone else and
3. HOW did you fix the problem?

I was diagnosed with a horrible yeast infection this past week. My period is also late, and it hasn't been late in probably 5 years. The doctor prescribed me some cream to cure the infection and it seems to be helping, but my period still hasn't come. I have never had intercourse, but have recently given and received oral.

Does anyone know what could be going on?

I finished a ten day cycle of Provera which brought on my period as it always does. A regular cycle, nothing out of the ordinary. I started a new pil, the POP Micronor, on a Sunday. I'll be starting my third week today.

Any my period came today. I wasn't expecting to even have one, much less following my second week on this pill. It's thick and heavy and clotty. Am I just being paranoid and this really is all right?

I'm hoping it will be gone soon. It has such awful timing. Bah!
