Hey everyone...I'm new to this community. :) I asked this in [livejournal.com profile] vaginapagina last week, and was just wondering if you guys had any advice as well. Here goes. :)

I have something I've been wondering about. Okay, I am going to be visiting my girlfriend, who I haven't seen in 8 months, on June 26th. I'm flying out to Philly from California where I live to be with her for 2 weeks! I'm so incredibly psyched!! This is the thing, though- I am due to get my period anywhere from the 22nd to the 25th, around there sometime. We are going to be staying in NYC for the gay pride festivities that weekend, and I am going to be so devastated if I'm on my period while we have a hotel room all to ourselves, if you get my drift, lol. So, I am asking you all: Is there anything I can do at all to help my period come earlier?? Even a couple of days would be great... I know there probably isn't anything to make it come earlier without a doubt, but anything that might help would be awesome. Not to delay it, but to make it come earlier. If I have my period when I'm with her that weekend, I am going to DIE! Aaaaaaah!

Any help is GREATLY appreciated! :)

I just wanted to post that I have lots of yeast infections, which are linked to my thyroid problem (at least, that's what I've read). So I've asked around, and the best homeopathic cure seems to be garlic. Like, taking it in pill form will help. Peeling a clove and slicing it open and putting water on it before rubbing it on my cunt cures within two applications. It sometimes burns like a madman, but it works. And eating yogurt. :)

I am in the hut as of last night. I feel like shit today and I have to go skate around at work tonight for 5 hours. Urghhh..at least I know I'm not pregnant!

I went out and bought some tampons. I am 17 and have never used one before. I figured since I've already had sex and had something in me, I might as well try using a tampon. Stupid me, I bought super plus absorbancy ones. Oh well..I shall try them anyway..

Ugh. Started my period last night, and today my neck has horrible painful unpoppable little zits all over it.

I remember being 15 and thinking, "When I'm 18, I won't get zits anymore." Then when I was 18, "When I'm 21, I won't get zits anymore."

I'm 39.

hello.
just wanted to post to say that you gals have completely changed my mind about tampons. i used to hate the stupid applicator ones, and ive never used o.b. before, because i couldnt get the applicator ones up far enough. im definately going to try for o.b. sometime in the near future (my next period no doubt.)

this community has helped with a problem i didnt even think twice about - so thank you all.

I just got done doing the whole tampon thing. I screwed up the first one, but the second one is in there. I think I did it right..I can't feel it! Yeah buddy! I think I might like these things. I was shaking so badly though while doing it..

I think Midol plays with my head way, way too much..

Woo-hoo!!! In the hut again.....I was sweating it this month *whew!*, but it's all good now.
Until the cramps start, that is.

Yep, i ordered my Keeper today! I'm still kind of nervous. Silly really, but i hope it'll be a good investment. How big is the package it comes with? Will it for through a letterbox? Because i don't fancy having to get up early to get it or even worse, to have to go to the Royal Mail depot. Parcels suck :)

Thank you to all those who persuaded me to buy it. You'll all have to help me when i get it!
