Greetings Ladies,

I'm new here, having followed a link from the journal of my dear friend, theartemisiaway. A little about me: I'm 23, from Cheshire (England), and live with my fiance and two kitties :)

I can't remember when I started my period; It was over ten years ago, I know. I think I was about 11 or 12, certainly no more than that. In any case, I'm always plagued by incredibly sore breasts for the week before and first few days of my period. They're sore even for me to touch. Does anyone else find this?

I also seem to have 4 or 5 days of heavy flow, followed by one or two light. Any my lower back kills me. Again, if anyone experiences the same I'd love to know: sometimes I feel I'm on my own here!

Finally, can anyone recommend any good books/websites (etc) about menstruation? Thanks!

Pap & Depro

I got my first PAP smear and it wasn't nearly as bad as all my friend told me it would be! It was so worth it, to know that everything looks fine.

Also, I just got on Depro Vera [the shot] last week. I really like it so far. I seem more interested in sex than I was on the pill, and I've only spotted one day so far (I heard this is normal). Anyone who's on it... how do you like it?

im not sure if this goes here (and if it doesnt then i will delete it) but if anyone could give me any advice or what they think im just really worried or if im just being paranoid or what


like last Wednesday (the 16th) i had some spotting then on Thursday and Friday there wasn't anything then on Saturday there was more and then through Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (the 24th) i had my period and i didn't really think anything of it like i just figured i started on Saturday because i was supposed to start on Saturday so then on Wednesday we did it and he ejaculated inside me then there was only very light spotting on Thursday and none today then tonight i was thinking about it and i don't know like im not sure if my period started on Wednesday then that means he actually ejaculated inside of me on the last day of my period

Hi I'm Carolina, I think I might have introduced my self at some point a long time ago, but haven't posted in quite a while, anyways I'm on the tail end of my flow and on my second nuva ring, and I didnt cramp, but i did get extra bloaty al lot more so than I used to, so basically does any one have any suggestions for the bloating? it makes me feel really icky like im carying around sacs of water under my skin
