This probably sounds stupid, but where exactly are your ovaries? I keep having pain in my sides, but I don't think it's appendicitis since I'm not running a fever and haven't thrown up, so I think it might be my ovaries.
My gyno told me I can't develop endometriosis while I'm on the pill, so does the same go for things like ovarian cysts?

(I really hope nothing is wrong...today is my 17th birthday -_-; )

Man, girls, cramps are awful. This is just not a good day. It's lunch now...I've slept straight through every class just because I'd rather sleep than be awake to feel pain. Blah.

And I really need to invest in something new...I'm thinking sea-sponges, but I'm not sure. My flow's very heavy, and I'm not sure how long they last.

All I know is that tampons are evil. My poor vagina is begging me to switch. No more terrible dry, bleached cotton for me.

Anyone have any suggestions? Or info on sea-sponges? I'm definitely gonna have my sister,

a while ago on tv i heard that people that make pads and tampons put some kind of chemicals to keep you bleeding longer than you should... does anyone know if this is actually true?

Hey I have a question. My period is nuts, totally irregular. I made a gyno appointment to hopefully get on birth control and become regular but its not for a while I had my period in July, didn't get it in August. I took a pregnancy test on Setptember 17th and it said I am not pregnant. Last week I thought I was getting my period. I wiped and there was blood so I put in a tampon. For 2 days there was only slight slight blood, I don't even think itw ould come out if I was wearing a pad and then it ended. It is now the end of September and I still never got a full period. I am wondering why this could be. Could it be that is all I needed to release? Or do you think something is wrong?

About three months ago my gyno put me on OTC-Lo to help regulate an ovarian cyst. I took the pills for two months but it made me severely depressed. I already struggle with depression and take numerous meds for it. I stopped taking it for this month and things seem to be looking up. I have an appointment with my gyno Sept 11th. I plan on going back on some form of birth control but I'm scared that I will sink back into my depression.

What birth control methods would you suggest?
Has anyone else suffered severe depression when put on BC and which one?

BTW I take 150mg Effexor and 40mg Adderrall
