I'm kind of finding that my 'pons are sort of slipping down to where its a little uncomfortable...i'm not super loose or anything, so don't get THAT idea...but is that normal? should i up the thickness of it anyways? should i just keep pushing it up?

i'm not really a frequent tampon user, if you couldn't tell...i'm trying to ween myself off pads because 'pons are less annoying, except for this!

Tracking my Period

Hi, im new here. I have some questions.


I've been trying to track me cycle and it seems to always changes on me,but it always starts around the end of the month. See the thing is i want to know when its going to start..if its gonna be that week or this day. This last month was totally off, and it pissed me off because i started at my friends house and was totally embrassed. Is there an easy was to track this?


I always have a question. I use tampons and i notice that their is leaking so i figure it needs to be changed and when i take it out it doesn't..is there anything to help this. I feel really silly wearing a pad and a tampon at the same time, to me if you have one you should need the other.


Its funny how i can talk to complete strangers about this and not with my mother or doctor..

hi everyone! i was once a member here under another journal -- which one i forget. it's been awhile since i was here and i'm struggling with really painful periods and a couple weeks of bleeding.

my mother is really concerned that i might have endometriosis. she has had it and is recognizing a lot of the same symptoms she had. i'm really nervous about it, honestly.

i made an appt. to see my regular doctor as my gyn is on vacation right now.

i guess i should list my symptoms ... so here goes:

Pain.
Pelvic pain
Severe menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea)
Low backache 1 or 2 days before the start of the menstrual period
(or earlier), subsiding during the period
Rectal pain
Pain during bowel movements
Some vaginal bleeding before the start of the menstrual period
(premenstrual spotting). **before and after my period is when i have
it most!

like i said -- i`m really scared about this and i'm on the verge of a panic attack and slipping into depression as it is ...

how in the heck do you insert a non-applicator tampon? my step-sis uses the OB kind, and i tried to use one once just to see what it was like. i found it to be impossible. it was awkward and painful, and i got blood all over my hand. i thought that using a lubricator might help to insert it, but wouldn't it coat the surface of the tampon to where it wouldn't absorb any blood? someone please help to educate me on this mysterious non-applicator phenomenon.
