I just started the second month of a new BC pill. Ortho 1/35. My period came on Tuesday of plecebo pills, it usually would come on Wednesday, but its not a big deal. Well Wednesday my period was really heavy and i had horrible cramps and was really tired...the way I was before taking BC. Anyways, it's been a week now since I started my period and it's still not done...well I guess it is done but I have spotting...old blood it seems. I'll give this pill 3 months to get used it as people say...right?

Early Period Due To Sex?

I'm extremely worried and I'm hoping you guys can help me..

I have no one to go to.

Yesturday [Monday] I had sex with my boyfriend of 10 months, we've been having sex for awhile now and we've never had any problems.
Yesturday, we had sex a lot though, because we were finally alone for a whole day, and it got kinda rough. hehe. I was fine after sex, besides a little irritation and about 2 hours later I started bleeding, pretty bad. I put a tampon in and left it alone. about 2-3 hours later I checked it, and it was almost like period blood. but I'm so confused because I'm on birth control and I'm not due to start my period for another 2 weeks. this morning I woke up with terrible cramps but no blood [I didn't wear a tampon to bed to see if I was still bleeding] but I wore one to school just in case. I changed it in school, and it was full, almost like a very light period [brown blood] so now I'm confused.. did the sex make me start my period 2 weeks early? or is it just blood from irritation?

Just some more about me, I'm 16, I'm on my 2nd pack of birth control now with no problems except in the beginning with some breakthrough bleeding [with the first pack]

Is it normal for this to happen? or could it be more serious? :\ please help!

Curious about something herbal...Has anyone heard of Shepherd's Purse?  I work as a pharm tech and I have never heard of this herb.  I have endo and one of the joys is very heavy bleeding.  I was doing some research and read that Shepherds Purse helps stop/slow blood flow.  This is kinda scary and I wouldn't take it without professional advice, but I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of it before or used it before for any reason?

I was wondering if there is any way I could get my period to come faster. I want to start my birth control but I am being forced to wait until my period. It is only about 1-2 weeks away. I was wondering if anyone knew any food or drinks or exercises that could speed up the process and get it here ASAP!

Showed mom. She gave it a skeptical look, then goes --

"After my experience with a diaphragm, no thanks. Wait til you try and put that in and you're all hooey and gooey and it flips across the bathroom. You better clean up after yourself."
