does anyones' birth control make them sick?

i swear, i get nauseated ten million times a month, and i used to never until i started birth control. i've been through three different kinds, and nothing works. maybe my body just can't handle estrogen.

maybe it's not worth the trouble. you think? i mean, on my period, i usually don't get too bad cramps, nothing that won't go away with some midol. sex...well, i will use something else with the condoms. i'll ask the doctor when i go today.

Argh. Back in the hut. Hoorah. >:/

I was expecting the bc pills to help me out, but I still have bad cramps... and my flow is still more or less medium-heavyish. It's not fair!
Oh great. Now I'm starting to feel nauseated.

Does midol work? And does it have a somewhat decent pricetag? I heard it works. I dunno.

hello, i'm new here. what great timing to find this community! i just started taking the pill (ortho-cyclen) for the first time this week. no bad effects yet really except...will i ever stop bleeding? when does your period get shorter and less painful? i understand there's spotting at first sometimes, so if you start the pill with your period is it normal for your period to last longer? also about an hour after i take it my skin feels all tingly with electricity... but maybe i'm just imagining that!
wow, it feels weird to post this stuff. anyway, thanks in advance for advice/comments.

Last month, I was sooo psyched to have a really light period. Started right on time. Then yesterday, the floodgates opened - I don't think my flow has been that heavy for years! I'm reallly bummed about it.

I think I wouldn't mind having my period if I could have a lighter flow. My cramps get so much worse. Strangely, I didn't have PMS at all. My emotions only got out of whack after I started my period. I've been pissed off, yelling and crying ALL DAY LONG. When I have a light period, it's only a minor inconvenience, and I'm almost happy to see it. That's where I feel so good about things. But this time, I'm just totally miserable.

Sometimes it's hard to be a woman...
At least my pre-period breakouts have decreased in their ferocity.

Hi, my name is ...1980, and I was born with a microperforated hymen.
If you want to hear about it, read more. I think it's kind of interesting, but I couldn't really describe it without being slightly visual. Hey, we all have these parts, so it shouldn't be a big deal. Ha.
read on, bebe! )

I haven't had my period for a good three and a half months now. I've always been sporratic and irregular, but no worries - I'm perfectly healthy.
What I was wondering is, is there any way to encourage ovulation so my period will come? Excersize, heating pads, what have you...? Sorry if that's a crazy question, but the longer my period takes to arrive the moodier I become. My PMS cost me a wonderful relationship already, and a lot of friendships are going down the drain...
