Ugh. Embarrassing leaking problems. It feels like I can never control them, especially in school. I know there's nothing to be ashamed about, because every woman menstruates, but somehow we do not want to see that blood outside. And I hate to give in, but it's humiliating to have men walk behind you and then realize that you have stains on your pants. Oh God.

Menstrual cups & cramps?

For the last few months I have had evil, evil cramping and nausea at the start of my period, so bad it made me cry and vomit. This month, I have linked it to the cup (I use the mooncup) - when I take it out, the cramps subside a little and I feel much less sick.

Has anyone else found that using one of the menstrual cups increases cramping and other symptoms of period hell?

I'm suppose to be starting Ortho Tricyclen Lo today...I went to take my first pill and I popped it out and I think it fell on the floor and now I can't find it!!!! What should I do? Just take the second pill tomorrow or take the next pill today and then continue the pack...will it make a difference if I miss one of the first pills??? I'm not on it for birth control reasons and i'm not sexually active at the moment so I'm not worried about that....HELP ME!!!!

Gah. I've been on the pill since I was 17, and just went off for various reasons. This is the first time in five years I've ovulated, and I'm having some vicious mittelschmirz cramps. I forgot how much this sucks.

hm, i did a test... and it's def. not the tampons making me cramp to the point where i throw up. oh boy did i have nasty cramps this morning, and right before confirmaton!! but, those therma care heat pads are a lifesaver. and to think i showed my boyfriend of 1.5 years how to change my tampon if i become incapable to do it (read: sick, nausuos, ect.). he didn't think it was gross at all, and wouldn't mind doing it if the need arose. heh, i guess a servant is out of the question then ^_~

but yesterday pms was almost in tears for no reason, and today i had no paitence. mmm pms. least no bloating yet.

fortunately, i'll be done before my birthday on sunday. happy 16th birthday to meee!! :D

first day of my sugar pills...

Got up, showered...had a liner on just in case...ate chilli and felt a little uncomfortable but thought it was my stomach (I'm taking meds for a possible ulcer/acid reflux)...went to the bathroom and to my surprize my period had started. I've had little to no pain all day which is weird...but a nice treat. I just hope tomorrow I won't have to suffer through massive cramping at work...hopefully it will stay as it is, just a mild discomfort.

Dumb sponge questions (I'm sure they've been asked a thousand times already)
Are sponges *really* just the ones they sell at the walmart in the cosmetic aisle? Like... the smaller versions of a sponge I would use to say... sponge paint my wall? How big are we talking here, if I wanted to use them instead of tampons or my Keeper?
I was looking on a few websites, but no one really gives me any ideas on size/type of sponge, etc.

ugh.... i don't like my period.
k i use pads now, and i'm starting to feel like i wear a diaper. :( but i don't have time to change my tampon every hour and a half (that's how often i need to change when i wear them) i want to change to tampons or get better pads or something.
anyone have any suggestions?
