My PMS has a wonderful habit of making an appearance when other shit is happening. Just to complete an already unpleasant picture. It has now done this at least three months in a row.

Last weekend I went to the Alps for a long weekend (I live in France) with my friends to celebrate the end of first semester. It didn't occur to me to bring along any "supplies" because I wasn't due for another few weeks, but sure enough on the first day, I was in the bathroom and realized my period had come. There were two guys and two girls on this trip and my friend Sarah didn't have anything either. To make things better, we were pretty secluded up in the mountains, a fifteen minute drive into town and we didn't have a car, we'd just brought enough food for the weekend.

I had to use my socks to soak up the blood. It was so awkward and I felt like I was wearing a diaper. Also, I stained my socks. However, it was much softer than a pad and there wasn't any of that icky chafing.

So, just a warning ladies; always bring something with you just in case.

i just tried to put on a tampon for the first time, and i couldn't get it in, when i pushed the tampon in it hurt so i gave up, now i'm a little sore. i'm really preocupated because i'm afraid that if i can't get a tampon in, what will i do when i want to have sex?? and it's not so far away...i don't know what to do :(
i was nervous when i was inserting it but relaxed at the same time. the worst part is that i can insert a finger and it doesn't hurt, but when i try to get the tampon in it hurts like hell, please help me!!!
