Ok. I havent posted in a LONG time... but... i have a quesiton.



I've been on Ortho TryCyclin (sp?) for almost a year.
I've never had a problem with spotting.
EVER.


Symptoms are never very bad when it comes to pms.

Except for cramps. UGH!




Now.


Last month, I missed one pill, and managed to start my period the next day, not long after I took the pill. I rode the period out, and then started back on my pills.


This month, I havent missed any pills. However, about 3 days ago, my boyfriend and I were doing things... and he was coming from a rear entry position, nothing anal, just from that position, and when it was over, there were trace ammounts of blood.
There was no pain.
In fact much pleasure, which is strange becuase I've never enjoyed that position.

The next day, there was no spotting, no nothing.


Yesterday, however, I spotted again, with no sexual contact involved.

Any answers as to why I might be doing this? Confusion ahoy!


I'm almost afraid that the bc itself isnt strong enough anymore?

1 week from tomorrow the flood will begin. Gee, that would explain my craving for chocolate today. I must say though that it only seems like last week she was here. My how time flies when your husband isn't on the same shift as you for two weeks. Actually, that time seemed to stretch on into eternity but you know what I mean. I need to get layed....and fast!

I've posted in here during horrid, wretched, crampy-bleedy days. For a change: this period is LIGHT, relatively pain-free, and not all that inconveniently timed.

OB review, and Proactiv

First off: My gym has been giving out free packs of OB's new "Silk Ease" applicator-free tampons. I must say, having been a Tampax woman for years, I'm quite impressed. There's a promotion on the OB site where you can get a free pack. Tampax is still winning in the price game though.

Second, a question (a bit off-topic): Does anybody here use Proactiv acne medication? I love the cleanser, but not the other stuff (toner, lotion) that comes in the sets that are sold on the Proactiv website. Is there any possible way to get these things separately? Proactiv seems a bit fascist about insisting that all three products are a "system."

preperiod poos

I joined mycyclespage.com the other day to help me keep track of things.
Two days ago I started my placebo pills, so generally my period should start on Wednesday. Normally, the first two or three days on placebo I get some dihareha (sp?) along with the normal "down" mood and mild cramps. I went to mycycles page to enter all of this in, and there isn't dihareha listed as signs of a period.
Am I the only one that experiences this?
I know my sister gets it too, we joke about it all the time, calling it the "pre-period poos".
Does anyone else get dihareha before/during their period?

if you have a yeast infection and you used the OTC cream and you have your period can you use tampons? will that like affect the infection??

i know that stress can delay your period... but could it make you spot in the middle of your cycle? (even if you're on the pill?)

i'm not sure if it's that, because i've been in a lot of stress the past two weeks, but that ended a few days ago...

also i exercised more than usual this morning, and then this afternoon noticed that i was spotting a bit...
does this happen to anyone else?

i don't know which it is, if any, but this isn't the first time...

I don't know where else to post this and I've looked in the memories but couldn't find anything. I skipped my period in Feb[the 19th] and now i'm 4 days late this month, but that's not really the question I have. Lately I've had alot of snot like discharge. Its clear and looks exactly like snot that would come out of your nose. What would cause this? Is it normal? Also there's no abnormal smell, not that I notice anyways.
