Don't know if this is the place to ask, but...

I get my birth control on Thursday. I have to get the full checkup and everything first. I'm really nervous since it will be my first time going to the gyno...but I'm also proud that my boyfriend and I are doing it. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on where I could stash my b.c. once I get it so that my parents can't find it? The purse might work...but it's super small with not many pockets...

SO...any ideas at all?

I woke up in complete agony this morning. I stumbled downstairs and sat on the toilet for half an hour. My entire lower body was one large cramp, I was nauseous, and I was hot. I was pretty sure that I was going to pass out, and I had even positioned myself so I wouldn't hit my head on the vanity top. Heh. I feel a bit better now.

What bugs me is that I was in so much pain, but I was barely bleeding at all. *grumble* And that it showed up without any warning, and early, too.

What makes me really mad is that I had plans with a guy tonight, and I'm not one for sexual activity on my period as it makes my cramps worse. *sigh*

This episode this morning has convinced me that I will be going to the doctor and going on some birth control pills to calm this beast down.
My question, and the point of this whole entry, is how should I talk to my (male) doctor about all this and convince him its really that bad? And also, do I need to have a schedule of my cycle for like the past year, or just a few months back? Any other little tidbits I should know? Thanks, ladies! <3

Well, tomorrow I'm going to the gyno for the first time ever. I"m not scared or anything. I am sexually active, and maybe some of you have read my posts about my horrible cramps. I mostly want to go to see if I have a cyst (a previous CatScan showed I had liquid in my pelvic area) and I've always have strange discomforts in between periods. Plus not to meantion the depression, headaches and mood swings I go through the week before I'm due. If everything is ok with me, and I don't have any cysts or anything, just bad cramps and symtoms, I would like her to give me a heavy painkiller. I'd also like to get on the BCP for my own safety (though I will continue using condoms with my bf). Now, my mom of course doesn't know I'm sexually active...she's going with me, but I"m making her stay in the waiting room when I go in...I suppose I have to fill out papers, and she might want to look at them (she's nosy) so I"ll probably have to lie in the "are you sexually active" question. Is that ok? That I lie in the paperwork and leter in tell the gyno the truth?
Another thing...the BCP and painkillers...they don't have any bad addicting sideeffects do they? I'm taking this drug abuse and addiction course in the university and it's so interesting how all drugs (meds) affect your body without you not knowing it...I've heard (and read here) that the BCD can cause nausea, depression, etc...Do you all recommend a good painkiller and a good type of BCP that doesn't have any bad effects?
Is it possible that the gyno can prescribe me both the BCP and painkillers?

I'm just finishing my second pack of Yasmin.

I'm not sure who commented on my posts last month, but I appreciated the advice. I'd love it if you could answer my questions again.

The first pack of Yasmin that I took, I spotted for 2 days until I started on Wednesday, day 4 of my inactive pill.

Today is Tuesday, day 3 of my inactive pill, and I'm seeing nothing thus far. Is that normal?

My period is due tomorrow, and i feel like shit. My back hurts, my body feels kind of achey..I just feel like shit. I've never had back pain before a period before, is this a bad sign (I'm 15..so i dunno if that makes any difference or not)? Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to relieve it?
