My friend is much older than me, She's 16(Me, Im only in 8th grade going to 9th next year) She missed her period a few times, and decided to get a home-pregnancy test. It turned up positive. She went to the doctor who told her she was almost 3 months preganant. She thought and pondered, and eventually decided to get an abortion, before anyone signficant found out(Her friends, Her boyfriend, her classmates etc.) Now shes just wondering how long would it take to get her period back?

*I am only a messenger. If any of these facts dont seem straight, i will try as best i can to clear them up.

this is probably really stupid, but oh well..

when you're getting ready to start your period, is it supposed to be so light, that it's just light blood when you wipe?

i've been having cramps like i have when i'm on my period, but no blood...until now. my period is supposed to be here anytime, and i wasn't sure if that was it just getting ready to start full-on..

BCP question

I'm taking Alese and have been for about three months (and have been taking BCP for about three years now). I use it as a birth control and don't use any other form of protection during sex. If I get my period during a week of active pills but not during my "off" week does that increase my likelihood of getting pregnant if I have sex during that time? or after? Thanks!

Hey, I'm new and I have a question.

I have been experiencing light bleeding inbetween my periods for a few months now. I always get my period for 7 days, and then about 2 weeks after I get my period, I get light bleeding for about 2 days. I'm 20 years old and have had my period for many years now. I've had bleeding inbetween my periods before, but it would usually only happen one month and then not again for another few months so I never really paid much attention to it.

I'm just scared now because like I said, for the past few months, it always bleeds inbetween my periods (very lightly) for about 2 days.

Is this normal? Could it perhaps just be me ovulating or something? Or is something wrong with me? Any answers are greatly appreciated.

*edit: I'm not taking any form of contraceptive and I'm not having sex
